The Best Summer Drink

I don't really post about real food (only like, snacks and protein powders) or cooking on le blog because I suck at it. But one thing I'm *really* good at, is drinking. So I'd like to share the yummiest drink of all time, again, thanks to one of my besties for introducing me to it, quasi.
So like, I'm not a tequila drinker. I hate margaritas because that sour mix is like heartburn in a glass but mostly because I can taste the tequila which has always reminded me of the time I'm pretty sure gave myself alcohol poisoning when I was 17 with tequila. Because of this, for the last 87 years I've stayed away from tequila. I couldn't even smell it without dry heaving.
THEN we went to our friends' house a few weeks ago and my gf introduced me to spicy tequila. She had thrown some serrano peppers (or habanero? I don't remember. Whatever, it was spicy) into a bottle of tequila then let it marinate. Then she mixed it in a bit of spicy tequila into some Fresca. And I was like, wtf no I'll hate it #becauseTequila.
Lo and behold it was MAGIC.
So because bars/restaurants usually don't carry Fresca, I've been asking for:
a shot of spicy tequila with club soda
very small splash of grapefruit juice (Fresca is basically grapefruit soda with no calories.)

Y'all.
Just try it next time you're at a higher end restaurant that you think has spicy tequila. And if they don't, ask for some thinly sliced jalepenos mixed in with the tequila. And if they don't have those, then get a vodka soda, I don't know what to tell you.
And PS I did not invent this. A very similar drink is called a Paloma (but the Paloma is made with a shit ton of sugar, both from straight up cane sugar and wayyyy more grapefruit juice. No thanks, man. Sugar 🚫 🙅🏻)
Any other drinks you think I should be trying now that I'm basically a tequila connoisseur?
