Ugh you guys. I'm reallllllly really into this style of boot. Ever since I saw them on the Saint Laurent runway, I was sold. Perhaps not on the sparkling because I'm not a sparkly type of girl, but definitely the shape. You know the ones:

AND they come in leather:

I LAH-HOOOOOOVE that conical type heel. Swoon.

On the runway, I'm seeing them worn a lot with skirts and dresses but they also look dope with skinny jeans.

Peep em:

Marc Jacobs FW17

Michael Kors FW17

Saint Lauren FW17

However, not any slouch boot will do. They can get tacky and cheap looking REAL quick.

For example, these ones are blech:

Vom:

Please for the love of God, don't:

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT:

Now, this is just my opinion, BUT features can that really cheapen this slouch boot look:

Cheap material

A platform (visible or non)

A zipper or buckle (*dry heaves*)

A stiletto paired with a round toe (a stiletto with a pointy toe is chic. A stiletto with a round toe is tacky.)

Listen, I don't make this shit up, ok? I just know what makes my skin crawl, (ugh GOD the last four pictures) and what makes me feel like I just took a xanax (the first six pictures)

Here are some chic ones (including of course the Saint Laurent ones because I had to include them thrice in this post, they're THAT good.)

As always, click the pic to shop.

Ok so, thoughts? I'm crazy right, just admit it.
