My Favorite Discovery of 2018 Thus Far: Collosal No Rinse Cleanser

As you know, I'm always on the hunt for "something better." A better nude lipstick, a better fitting high waisted jean, a more lengthening and thickening mascara...I'm always on the look out. What this means is that I rarely call something "my favorite" because I truly think something better exists out there.

That is, until I tried this no rinse makeup remover and cleanser. Guys. This is it. I found the best cleanser I've ever tried.

So, to back up: There are two things I loathe about skincare and makeup. One of them is doing my brows (I find this highly tedious) and washing my face (I get very annoyed when the water gets everywhere and I've yet to find a cleanser that doesn't make my skin feel tight as a drum but not in a good way.)

I'd heard about this milk cleanser from a blogger I follow, Lauryn Evarts, but hadn't needed to buy a new cleanser until I recently. I'd finished up the Philosophy cleanser, below (which I thought was a good one; great at removing makeup, got my skin clean. Nothing bad except the aforementioned water everywhere and making my skin tight and that's with every cleanser I've ever tried).

So I decided to pull the amazon trigger and get the cleanser I'd read about a while back and had been meaning to try, but didn't buy because I didn't need it.

That's the 8.4 ounces, above but I bought the 3.4 ounces. And to be honest, when I received it in the mail, I was kinda pissed. It was $18 and such a little amount and the bottle wasn't even full! So whatever, of course I still tried it because I had it.

It BLEW ME AWAY.

I was skeptical that it could remove all my makeup, first of all. Welp. It did. It removed about 95% of it using very little product. I honestly thought I would have to use so much but like, MAYBE a teaspoon I used? More like half a teaspoon, no joke. So the 3.4 ounce bottle is really going to last me but that did not stop me from immediately buying the 8.4 ounce bottle. If I could find a way to buy stock in this product, I would.

You're technically not supposed to rinse the cleanser off, but the first time I used it, I splashed water on my face once and then went about my nightly skincare routine. Since then I've been going without the water and my skin feels SUPER soft and it looks luminous and bouncy.

I like to use these large cotton rounds with it:

When I wiped this over my face, I did not feel any residue whatsoever, I just felt clean, plump skin. Oh and the scent, you guys. THE SCENT. It's so good! It's light, and kinda citrus-y and I just want to bathe in this. (Oh did you know it's rumored that Karl Lagerfeld actually DOES bathe in this? I mean, I read it online so it must be true.)

So, did you catch my live on instagram? Have you heard of this cleanser before??
