Youuuuuuhooooo guys. Whew. Ok so as you have probably felt, winter is straight up coming (ok maybe not everywhere, my birthday is October 11th and it was like 85 degrees.) BUT the humidity is dying down which means my super duper dry skin is starting to suffer. If you're not already, you should probably be switching to a more moisturizing face cream for both day and night because of the change in weather, regardless of your skin type.
Mine, of course, is dry. Which means that the Glossier Rich Priming Moisturizer I've been using is not good enough anymore *sobs*.
However, a while back I dragged Alex shopping with me and out of the blue, he was like, "I need better face stuff." (read: moisturizer) He's used Kiehl's in the past so we walked into the store and obvi I was like, *yawn* I mean Kiehl's is good but in my mind, I was in no skin care mecca, right?
So Alex bought this ENORMOUS (read: 4.7 oz...which actually is a LOT of product for a face cream. My Shiseido stuff is like AN ounce and it's $95 bucks) for less than $50 bucks and I was like, Lol cool that's probably gonna suck but do you. Well, as we were out of town, I stupidly forgot my own moisturizer and in my head was thinking, "I'll use this product made for peasants just for tonight and go back to my bougie stuff when we get home tomorrow."
Well, guys? I was wrong.
This stuff is REALLY good. I used it in the evening and the next morning, I saw that my skin was plump and fresh and just all around wonderful. I used it the next day and it was great under makeup.
I will say though, that I HATE the packaging. I've said this before, but I just think this is the dumbest delivery system for a face product. I would much prefer a pump because it's way more sanitary than dipping your fingers in there. Gross, man. I guess you can get around it by using a q-tip or just getting over yourself. I plan to give the latter a shot because who can be bothered with a q-tip every single time you want to apply it.
So it's relatively inexpensive, will last you for approx 1 million years, given the amount of product and the product itself is awesome. Go Kiehl's.
Any other Kiehl's products I need to have in my life??
