The Perfect Nude Lip

I've been searching for the perfect nude lip for what seems like my entire life. I've tried all nude lip liners, approx. 1,287 nude lipsticks in various formulas, every nude gloss on the market, and was never really satisfied. Well, guys. I found it.
Months ago, one of my girlfriends, Kim, texted me about Lacome's Matte Shakers. I told her, "Meh, I'm not really into a matte lip because I find them so drying" She responded and said, "Omg they're not drying AT ALL." So I was excited to try them until I realized I couldn't really try them in the store because the tip is like a foam applicator. And then I got annoyed and totally forgot about them. Until one of my favorite youtubers, Allana Davison (I love her androgynous style, her messy lob and her simple makeup. I also find her voice very soothing.) Peep her channel HERE and the video that made me buy the Matte Shaker in the first place HERE. And of course, the product in question:
I inserted a pic I took of it because it reads more true to color than the link on Sephora.com that reads really pink.
So ok, by itself on me it's nice, albeit darker than I'm used to. So I debated returning it (because I'm me and I love to return things) but I really liked the formula. Very thin, felt like nothing on. Doesn't dry down to a completely matte lip, which I find ages me. So I shopped my stash (Beauty Youtuber term for looking through all your stuff and rediscovering products you haven't used in a while) and saw this Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee, all lonesome and unloved:

It's a neutral pink opaque gloss (if you don't know about Butter Glosses, peep my post about them HERE. They are amazing and super cheap). By itself, it is a bit TOO pink on me, so I mixed them together. And lo and behold, I created what I think is a super elegant, youthful nude lip. Look:

So natural, right? Just makes my lips look better than they do without anything on them. I'm so pleased. And when it wears off, there's nothing left, no patchiness, no cracking. And because it's a nude color (and the applicator is surprisingly precise, given it's a foam tip) it's really easy to reapply.
Anyway, that's me waxing poetic about stuff I don't need. Again. But it makes me happy. #SueMe
So tell me, have you tried these matte shakers? Do I need to get more?
