Recent Cheap Shit that's 💯

Continuing to spread the happiness, I recently bought a few things (that I don't need) that I am loving. And as is my promise to you, I'm not gonna post anything on my blog that isn't up to my standards so here we go.

This drugstore mascara is 🙌🏼 . I used to exclusively use Diorshow and then would be so pissed off every time I had to spend 30+ bucks for mascara. Since then, I've been using L'oreal Carbon Black but it's so wet and would take forever to dry after I applied it that it would get all over my eyelids. Also, it would smudge on my bottom lashes, too. However, I kept seeing this new L'Oreal mascara (below) online with rave reviews and on a recent trip to Target, I snagged the last one. And holy shit, you guys. 'Tis gewd:

I mean, look at my lashes:

In full disclosure, I use a lash serum. However, this mascara makes my lashes so super fluffy as opposed to spider-leg...y (?) like the Carbon Black does to me. No clumping and no smudging. Yasssss, right??

Then, I wandered over to Old Navy cause I'm looking for a new jean jacket (I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a cropped version, in case you're interested. The Gap one I have now I've recently deemed "weird fitting". I tried on a Levi's one this weekend and the jean material was so uncomfortable it was like wearing cardboard. And it too was weird fitting.) However, I did come across this new sleeveless tee (that yes, I'm wearing in the pic above) and the material is really nice and the cut is 👌🏼 . (I'm partial to racer back and muscle tee type cuts). And it was on sale for $7.95 (regular price is 15 bucks, so either way you're not breaking the bank.) I'm going back for a grey and a white one later today.

Lastly, on a daily basis I tightline my upper lash line (I'm actually too lazy to do precise eyeliner on a daily basis I tightline because I find it really thickens my lash line, which enhances the size of my eye.) I currently use Charlotte Tilbury Rock and Kohl in Bedroom Black (sexy name, huh?) but...it's $27 bucks. So I tried out this Essence eyeliner at Ulta for ONE DOLLAR AND FORTY NINE CENTS and (dramatic pause) it's fucking awesome. It's slightly less creamy than the Charlotte Tilbury one, but that's ok with me because it doesn't transfer to my lower waterline. And it stays put!
