Oribe Impermeable Anti-Humidity Spray

As the weather get hotter and more humid, you'll start seeing my hair styled down less and less. Unfortunately for me, my hair is very fine but also wiry, which means that it really reacts to any and all humidity and I just end up looking like I was in middle school and hadn't discovered what a flat iron was. That is why in the summer, you'll most likely never see me with my hair down.

I've tried numerous anti-humidity sprays that either weigh my hair down or just don't work. And I flat iron, I hairspray, I use product, I anti-humidity spray and I walk out of the gym locker room with one type of hair and by the time I finish my 5 minute walk to my office, my hair completely changes texture into Homeless Lady Witch Hair (what Alex calls my hair when I air -dry it.)

Luckily I was on IG stories one day recently and caught my friend Laura's story where she screenshotted a can of Oribe Impermeable Anti- Humidity Spray and said, "Buy this and thank me later."

Obviously this spoke to me given my struggle with my hair in the summer.

It arrived in the mail via Prime a few days ago but I really wanted to wait until I could give it the full test, ie: workout+ shower+blow dry + straighten+hot morning+ walk to the office.

And wouldn't you know it. It works. It fucking WORKS. (If you haven't noticed I'm really trying to cut back on swearing on le blog but this product deserved an f word because it's that good)

Not only do I feel a noticeable softness and sleekness to my hair, but it survived the dreaded hot morning walk to the office and my hair looks just as good as it did when I immediately finished flat ironing it.

Now that said. Price point: it's not cheap, y'all. Oribe is an expensive, high end haircare brand. But this is so worth it. I purchased the $22 size (for 2.1 measly ounces. I know, right? Ouch.) BUT I will GLADLY spend the $42 on the 5.5 ounces when I run out because it's so worth it to me.
