A few days ago, Casey and I had a few cocktails and decided to go Live on Instagram. Thankfully the cocktails made it fun instead of nerve wracking (well, fun for us; if you saw it...maybe super boring for you). In it, we decided to play with a bunch of Casey's Glossier products. She basically owns almost their entire skincare and makeup line and it was the perfect time for me to dive in and actually test out the products that I can't test out in store (since they only have a brick and mortar store in NY...I think)

You might remember I did a little Glossier haul and review a while back (peep it HERE) and I really liked the products I got.

Because I couldn't really try out the skincare (other than on the back of my hand which of course, isn't really a great test for the efficacy of a product) it was difficult to tell which of the skincare was worth it or not.

But I did try their body lotion called Body Hero. Spoiler alert, I loved it:

For my dry skin, it was super hydrating but it also absorbed quickly, which was great. And even though it absorbed quickly, it left a dewy sheen. So yes to all the dewy-ness, no to being greasy. And the SCENT! Omg, the scent is so nice. Not too harsh where it will overpower any perfumes but it for sure lingered and lasted. I could smell it on my skin the next morning (after I woke up with a giant headache. Thanks, vodka!) On the website they call it an Orange Blossom Neroli blend. If you google "Neroli blend" wikipedia describes it as "sweet, honeyed and somewhat metallic with green and spicy facets." That's actually a perfect way to describe it because it's neither a super warm or musky scent or a really fresh and clean scent. It's perfectly in the middle. It's gorgeous.

So, obviously, I got it.

Have you tried this lotion? Any other Glossier products you've been loving that I need to try?
