So I've heard about how amazing Glossier's Boy Brow product is since it launched like, I dunno, a couple years ago. And I just hadn't gotten around to purchasing it because brow gels just never really did it for me. I didn't like their lack of precision and they didn't actually tame my brows the way I wanted them to...I just had very little faith in them.

Welp, last week I pulled the trigger on Boy Brow (in black) and you guys. My life is actually better since figuring out how to best use it.

So as you may have heard me lament on le blog in previous posts, I LOATHE doing my brows. It's just a real pain: I always have to be so careful and the brush and the gel and the dipping and the wiping off excess product, ugh. A necessary (IMO) but evil step to my makeup routine. Especially doing the inner part of my brows. It could get sharpie looking real quick if I'm not careful. UGH just thinking about it is giving me anxiety and stressing me out.

Anyway, I got Boy Brow in the mail and I decided I was going to try it out only on the front part of my brows and still use the brow pomade and brush on the tail of my brows. Big reason I don't like brow gel is because I like to extend my brow tail and I want to make it more precise, ya feel me ?

So that's exactly what I did and if you can believe it, I honestly feel like I've cut down the time I do my brows IN HALF. Instead of me sitting there painstakingly drawing fake hairs and filling in stroke by stoke, I outline the brow tail in 2 quick swipes on each brow and fill the rest in with Boy Brow.

The texture of this brow gel is much different from the other ones I've tried, which actually felt like cripsy gel. This is more pigmented and waxy and not shiny, but also holds my brow hairs in place all day.

PLUS this allows me to achieve a slightly-less-perfect-not-as-drawn-on brow, which is the look I'm just really feelin' lately. Behold:

(That shirts' pretty great, right? Equipment, found on Therealreal.com for $40 tysm)

I am kinda really loving them looking bushy and fuller but still looking precise on the tail and underneath the brow. I just find that type of brow is more youthful. And to boot, I'm no longer hating the brow process every morning.

So I realize I'm the last person in the world (well, in our Skincare Obsessed Beauty Loving World) to try this but tell me- HAVE you tried Boy Brow? Do you love it as much as I do??
