I'm Over a Sexy Shoe (For Now)

You know what I mean:

Toe cleavage, really high stiletto heel. Like ok maybe for red carpet events or special occasions I'm still ok with, but just not for everyday. It's not fresh, it's not unique and it's definitely not modern. IMO.

What I'm REALLY feeling are the kind of less "pretty" shoe. The higher edge on the side, the less shallow area around the toe. Basically the anti- Louboutin.

See what I mean? Opposite of pretty and girly but still sexy in it's own right because I just think this type of shoe exudes cool.

I have been LUSTING over those 👆🏼Prada Suede mules forever but alas, I can't find them anywhere in my size.

I did however, find a similar pair by Mercedes Castillo on saks.com (omg they just sent on sale and they have my size *searches for willpower*)

But then I randomly came across these Louise et Cie this weekend and I just couldn't pass them up. They don't have the stacked heel but the shape and their lines are just so good. They weren't *cheap* but they weren't crazy expensive, especially for the quality:

Ok so these look ugly. I get it. And they wouldn't work for a special occasion. But let's just take a gander on how COOL an "ugly" shoe can look:

See what I mean? Just so cool-girl. A pair of Loubs with any of those outfits above, or even with a jean, just takes away from the effortless vibe this type of shoe exudes. And for my taste, a super high stiletto with toe cleavage with a casual look is definitely not effortless which you know your girl is all about.

And who knows, I may be over this look in 6 months but for now, I'm just so very into it.

So ok tell me. Do you hate this look or are you in lurve like I am?
