Swimsuit Trends I'm Into

(I mistakenly published this post too quickly on Monday before I was done so if you received it because you're subscribed and were like WTF is this it's not even complete...sorry about that!!)

So I'm not big on trends, to be honest, especially when it comes to swimsuits. I'm more about finding the style that I feel great in and wearing that for the rest of my life. My body type is difficult to shop for: I'm quite square in that I have no waist and I have short legs and big boobs. Unless I can buy a two piece separately, the tops that come with the bottoms are usually way too small.

However, two trends come to mind that I think most body types can wear. The first is the high leg cut either in a one piece or two piece.

This one from Forever 21, I love. I find the sweetheart neckline and the high cut on the leg really flattering. And you know your girl loves a neutral color and this is no exception. HOW CHIC, RIGHT:

(And PS I own two one pieces from Forever21 and I've been really impressed with the quality, which is why most of these suits are Forever21)

I'm also super feeling this two piece below. I LOVE the thicker straps on the top (yes, it kinda looks like a sports bra but I'm not mad about it) and I love the high waisted and high leg cut of the bottoms.

Here's another option with the thicker strap top and high leg cut bottoms:

The last trend I'm totally loving is the off the shoulder two piece (and off the shoulder one piece can have a tendency to look a bit matronly, which if why I'm specifying a two piece)

It's just so cute and different from everything I usually see. And tan lines? What tan lines. I wear SPF 1.5 million and apply it like a crazy person so I don't get tan.

Here is one from asos.com as seen on one of my very favorite bloggers, Allana Davison:

Like, could you die, how cute is that.

Here are some options, since Asos doesn't sell that exact one anymore:

I love how it's feminine and pretty the look is without being too girly.

Here's another option from Asos:

If you're looking for me to include a suit with a print, you're gonna be looking for a long time. I'm not really drawn to prints very often, I'm very much solid color gal. It is what it is, guys. BUT the good thing is that Forever21 has a TON of prints in all of these types of styles so if prints is your thing, you won't be disappointed.

So tell me. Are you into these styles?? Will you be wearing them this summer? If so, tag me on IG so I can see!!
