Madewell 9 Inch Rise Skinnies

I love these jeans. LOVE 👏🏼 THESE 👏🏼 JEANS 👏🏼

The high rise sucks you in, the exposed button fly and the raw edge make for a jean that's so easy to dress up and down.

I realize I wasn't supposed to buy any jeans after I bought my Mother Denim jeans (peep that blog post HERE) but these are just so different and I realized I didn't own a pair of black denim jeans that aren't completely and totally frayed. The Frame pair I have are great but the slashed denim means I can't wear them to as many places as I could a non destroyed pair.

They come in multiple different washes and levels of destruction (that sounds like a video game). I have my eye on these, too:

And while I would never consider $135 "cheap" for a pair of jeans, the quality is so good, I think it's totally worth it. They are stretchy and don't lose their shape and the rise of the jean is perfect. Also, like I mentioned before, I LOVE the exposed button fly detail.

So as it stands, I don't NEED the jeans above. I have multiple pairs that look close enough that I can't justify buying them rn. Also, I'm still too into the mom jean look so I'll be wearing those for the foreseeable future.
