Can't Stop Thinking About: Gemstone Rings

As you guys may be aware, I have a very limited collection of jewelry that I wear everyday. (Peep that blogpost HERE)

But recently I've been loving the gemstone style of rings that I've consistently seen on Lisa Eldridge (celeb makeup artist and Creative Director of Lancome on youtube channel, makeup style and voice I love). Look what I mean:

So it's not really my style to wear color and multiple gemstones on one hand isn't my style either but I LOVE the look of one gemstone ring amongst my existing jewelry.

And as my luck would have it (bad luck, because my wallet won't let me purchase this. Yet.) I came across the most beautiful london topaz gemstone ring by Marco Bicego while wandering around Radcliffe Jewelers last week:

I LOVE the look of the hammered gold and that blue topaz is a bit gray, so it's not a super bright color and I just think it's so perfect and chic for everyday.

Lisa Eldridge actually made her own line of high end gemstone rings and I was really glad to see they were high end and she put a lot of thought into them. Great cuts of the gems and she uses pure 18K gold and none of that vermeil shit, where the gold will rub off eventually. She does use sterling silver and prepare yourselves as this is going to be super bratty, but I'm just not gonna wear something everyday that is sterling silver. Yellow or white gold only.

The garnet and citrine really caught my eye because it's kind of a non color.
