Sisley Black Rose Skin Infusion Cream

I recently ran out of my beloved Drunk Elephant moisturizer (peep that blog post HERE) and because I'm psychotic and always looking out for the next best thing, I decided that I was going to pull the trigger and get the Sisley Black Rose Skin Infusion Cream, which I had been eyeing for...years, really, but could never bring myself to splurge and spend $195.00 on this cream.

I don't know a ton about the brand Sisley other than it's a French brand that has a positive buzz and it's CRAZY expensive.

I'd heard SO MANY good things about this moisturizer: "instant radiance" "overnight difference" "an actual dream come true for my skin."

So I got it.

And it sucks?

Like, guys. I don't know what everyone was raving about. This provided SO LITTLE MOISTURE that my skin felt tight and cracked mere hours into my day. It created dry patches that I didn't even know I had, and my makeup sat really weird on top of it. Again, I have really dry skin so this just might not be suited for dry skin but for 200 bucks I think it should not only be able to moisturize my dry skin, but also cook me dinner.

It did neither, so thank g for Nordstrom's return policy because this little nightmare is a-goin' back.

Ok so tell me everything. What have you splurged on that has really disappointed you? And please tell me you got your money back...
