So ok, if you've been following le blog you know that I've been trying and trying to find a retinol product that my sensitive skin can actually handle. Peep a post about that HERE

Last time I tried one that was specifically made for sensitive skin, it ruined my skin for a good two months as it caused me to have dermatitis (basically really stubborn eczema. This was around my mouth and chin. Super fun times.) So I've steered clear of all retinol products since then.

Then I read about this new type of retinol that was plant based and much more gentle than actual Retinol.

(You might be asking yourself why I keep wanting to try retinol if it fux me up? Well, BFF, I'll tell you. It's because basically every dermatologist will recommend it for skin that's aging to get rid of fine lines, wrinkles, redness, uneven skin tone, sun spots, lack of firmness, etc. And my skin is aging because I'm not 24 anymore.)

So I saw this, read a couple of reviews and pulled the trigger. At $78 it wasn't cheap but for a retinol product alternative that I might actually be able to use? Sold.

Take a look at it's claims:

And guys? I've been using it for about two weeks now, every other night, I've seen no adverse reaction and have been waking up to super smooth, soft, even skin every. single. morn.

I also love that it's good for loss of elasticity because your girl is NOT feeling her laugh lines around the nose and mouth, which of course comes with age. Maybe this will help, so we'll see.

A trick with this product to prevent it from giving you dry lips, because it will, is to avoid your lips when applying and taking that extra step to wipe off anything on your lips after your skin care routine as a last step. Since I've been doing that, no dry lips with this retinol alternative.

So tell me. Have you heard of this brand? Tried anything from them? Will you try this product??
