The Dopest Gym Bag and My Gym Bag Essentials

So, I go to the gym 3-4 a week (in the mornings and never EVER on the weekends; I'm not psychotic) and have never really given any thought to the bag that holds my gym clothes because gross. Sweat.

Because I go in the mornings and I sweat like a man, I shower and get ready at the gym and unless I want to wear my hair in a pony tail 90% of the work week (I don't), I of course have to bring an outfit to wear to work, plus my makeup and all the shit I need to do my hair (hairdryer, straightener, brush, product.)

Enter, the gym bag that reigns supreme over all gym bags because of:

1. The shape; I love how it's not a stupid duffel bag shape because that's what everyone has

2. It has a thermal heat protectant pocket so my flat iron doesn't burn holes in my stuff/the bag

3. It's SO comfortable to carry. Before, I was using a Longchamp bag I got no joke, my junior year of college (ie, approx 1 million years ago) and although that sucker lasted, it was not gym bag worthy. The straps dug in and plus it was a sky blue color (barf).

4. It was less than $40

5. It's hot pink on the inside

And here's all the shit I need in the mornings to not look dead.

So listen, that Babyliss hairdryer and flat iron are the absolutely the tiniest and cutest hair tools of all time. But, they're travel sized. So expect travel sizes to perform like travel sizes. They get the job done but I'm not about to try a Jen Atkin curl with that flat iron.

My gym makeup (meaning "the makeup I apply after I'm done my workout at the gym" not "the makeup I wear to the gym" because that is SO bad for your skin) is the pared down version of my everyday makeup. (I still use a Vitamin C serum, sunscreen and moisturizer) Think: no foundation only concealer, setting powder, brow product, mascara, bronzer, and cream blush I use on both cheeks and lips.

I'm proud to say that from shower to walking out of the locker room, I've got my routine down to 30 minutes.
