I'm just never gonna pay +$1700 bucks for a piece of clothing. IDC if I win the lottery, that's just not worth it to me. A bag? Yeah sure, I can wear it all the time and really get my money's worth. A blazer I can wear only once in a while? Neg.

But I realllly love the look of the white gold button double breasted Balmain blazer. It's just so chic and IMO, totally timeless. Pair it with a white tee, some jeans, a white sneaker and you look like a million bucks, instantly. Thank goodness for sites like Asos, Missguided and Zara, who produce very similar pieces (read: they copy the shit out of designers) without the insane price point.

I happened to find an extremely similar blazer on Missguided:

Now it's true, these sites tend to sell out of their clothing quickly because they have short runs, so it's possible this exact blazer may not be available by the time you read this. If that's the case, get on the aforementioned sites (asos, misgguided, zara, nasty gal) and do a quick search for "white double breasted blazer". Whatever you find, make sure it's properly fitted (nothing screams "cheap" louder than ill fitting clothing) switch out the buttons that come on it with gold buttons. Done.

Side note: the quality is obviously not going to be anywhere near what Balmain is. But I'm ok with that. I don't need a white blazer that withstands the test of time. I'll just get a new one when I inevitably spill wine on it.
