I met some of my girlfriends for brunch recently and we started talking about le blog and things they have tried and loved. Like, game changer shit, man.
Let us start with my friend Katherine's chic ass dress. Both of us were texting before brunch talking about how hungover we were, I roll in with no makeup and hair literally in a banana clip (*hangs head in shame*). Girlfriend rolls in like she just came off a yacht in St Tropez. Obvi I ask her where she got her dress and she gives me the deets, and allows me to make her play model so I could show you guys. Look at it! It's got POCKETS. Oh also? It's a SWIMSUIT COVER UP. She's just wearing a light nude slip underneath. Is that not so genius, buying a cute swim cover up but wearing it out as a dress and not just at the beach? Oh also for the record, she's 5'9" which means that someone like me would have to get it altered. But whatever #worthIt (Click on the pic to shop)
Then my friend Lori brings TWO things into my life that she tells me I need to buy. The first are these magic pills that prevent hangovers. She got them at Whole Foods and evidently they actually work. I've tried things like this before and nothing has worked for me except, you know...not drinking 5 glasses of wine.
I just searched for it on amazon and read this review: "I thought it sounded bogus, tried it on a Cruise where I had a unlimited drink package and never got a hangover. Next day I committed the ultimate sin and drank beer, liquor and wine all in one night, went to bed hammered, no hangover. I'm 48yrs old, it worked on me. So it must be made from magical unicorn horn ingredients." *clicks purchase*
THEN I came back from peeing (tmi? nah, right? We're all friends here) and because I was so hungover I didn't pack all my essentials which includes hand lotion in my purse. My friend Lori let me use some of hers and I fell in love. I am suuuuuper particular about hand lotion (I know right I'm sure you're so shocked that I'm picky about something) but there are some that just make my hands feel drier than before I put on it. This was the total opposite, it was so smooth, not greasy and absorbed quickly. It was the perfect hand cream.
And then lastly, I can't believe I haven't told you guys about this before, but BEHOLD. The best strapless bra in the history of strapless bras:
(lol, boobies, right? ☝🏼)
The laser cut makes this bra totally undetectable and I never have to pull it up, which is such a bad look: hiking up your strapless bra 57 times during the day. (PS: this bra was also introduced to me by Katherine, one of the the aforementioned geniuses).
So there you go: we ate food, they drank (not me...never on Sundays, man), and we talked about cute shit.
