I Love a Good Espadrille

It just screams "south of France" to me. And something about the cut of the shoe and the slight platform make it wearable for people with short ass legs like me. I'm not a fan of ballerina flats (too girly for my style) and I can only wear sneakers so often. So, when I don't feel like wearing a heel, or if I am in the need of a pedicure but just haven't found the time, flat slide-on espadrilles are such an obvious choice in the spring, summer and even in the fall #DoYouScottyP (If you don't get this reference, then I highly suggest you watch We Are The Millers, one of this centuries' most highly underrated movies). I also love the look of a slight wedged ankle tied espadrille. With a palazzo pant? SO chic.

Anyway, I've rounded up a bunch of some of my favorite espadrilles below. And to be clear; I do not think a high ass wedge with a braided fiber sole (like THIS) counts as an espadrille.

(As always, click the pic to shop)
