YSL Nu Pieds Slides

I realize this is nothing revolutionary but I really am just loving the look of a flat brown open toed slide. They're so versatile easily pairing with any color, including black, and effortless to wear. They are the perfect summer shoe.

YSL makes a great pair (they're on every girl except the first one which I've included just so you can see how easy they are to wear with even an all black look):

(As an aside I feel like YSL totally ripped off the Hermes Oran sandal vibe, which are sold out on the Hermes site and retail for $680:)

So ok back to the YSL flat. Here it is, in all it's glory. It's called the Nu Pieds Leather Sandal (this colorway is Amber) and it retails for $595:

And because we're bff's I'm gonna show you the Zara copy which is still on the site and retails for $49 (yippeee!):

The main differences that I can see between that the YSL sandal has a square shaped toe, it has a bit thicker of a sole and leather pieces and the leather is crossed over differently. And maybe that's how Zara can get away with it but as a consumer, I am totally fine with choosing the cheaper option because they give off the exact same vibe.

So ok tell me. Do you already own a pair of similar slides and do you love this look as much as I do?
