So if you're reading this, you're most likely at the age where all your friends are having babies, or you're almost there. (Or, you could be way past that age and that's cool too, you'll still get some use out of this post hopefully!) In years past, I would just get whatever they wanted off the registry. And, like all new moms at their baby shower, feign surprise and delight when they opened the gift they asked for. So because you know I like to go against the grain a bit, I was truly excited to learn about a gift that was off registry but that was hella useful in the babies' early days.
So, thank you to my friend, Heather, for telling me about one of the most useful gifts you could possibly give your loved ones who are about to have a baby.
Enter, the Magic Merlin Suit (click the photo to shop):
Once the baby is big enough (they only start making them for ages 3 months and up, not before) this thing will take away the need for blankets, which I guess are dangerous or something? (I don't even know) and also, make the baby feel protected and almost swaddled, allowing for restful and longer sleeping. Learn more about it HERE.
And see the proof below 👇🏼 Reese was passed OUT two seconds after her mom put her in her suit. And I don't even think girlfriend was super tired! All babies are different of course, but Reese's mommy raves about it. So does Bird's mommy and Baby Kate's mommy and just trust me, ok?
