Multi-Masking

If you're not familiar with multi-masking, I'm about to do you a big favor.

So as you know, I'm very, very into skincare. Treatments and masks and peels and all the anti-aging. I could talk about skincare for hours. And of course, masks are a big part of my weekly skincare routine. I'm trying to be better about making detox masks a more regular part. Read a mini review on a few detox masks and why I need more of them in my life HERE.

That said, because of my dry, sensitive skin, I can't be using a detox mask all over my face. Talk about sucking the life out of my skin, because that's what detox masks do. And I just don't have a ton of congestion on my cheeks or forehead to merit using the mask on my whole face. So because of that, it would be wasteful and kinda harmful if I used a detox mask on areas I don't need it. So instead, I multi-mask:

I use different types of masks on different areas of my face depending on what my skin needs at the time. I need to detox my t zone but my cheeks and forehead need hydration. The darker mask is the Glamglow SuperMud Clearing Mask (buy it HERE) and the white one is an old Elizabeth Arden Hydrating Clay mask that I love but they discontinued it *sobs*.

I wipe off the mask with a towel and warm water and the result is that I've given my skin exactly what it needs. Plus it just feels fancier and frankly, the reaction and look I get from Alex when I walk downstairs looking the way I do in the pic above is worth it alone.

So tell me, do you multi-mask?
