Abercrombie: Yeah I said it.

Not sure about you, but Abercrombie and Fitch used to be synonymous with super hot people and uber cool clothes. When I was in high school, you could not get any cooler than Abercrombie. And if you worked there! Well, you were not only hot but also OBVIOUSLY super popular. Then, fast forward some years and it turns out the CEO was a total creep and famously admitted that he didn't want "fat or ugly people" working at his store. Understand there's an aesthetic but I mean, come on. As the CEO you have a responsibility to not be a total fratboy douche lord. So either way, after moving on from high school and then hearing the CEO say what he said just really kept me running past that store for the past one million years. (Also, the cologne they put through the vents. Walking past the store actually gives me a headache.)

Ok so all that said, I was doing some last minute Christmas shopping (I took a day off and MAN, running errands during the week is a whole new experience!) and walked past Abercrombie and saw a 50% off storewide sale sign so I took a deep breath and went in.

And omg, you guys. Their SWEATERS are amazing!! They FEEL so luxurious and expensive. Every single one I touched I was impressed with. No scratchy polyester in sight. Unfortunately the smell of the store forced me to run out because I was thisclose to getting a migraine.

But then I did some online shopping and looky what I found.

This one is $34 bucks with the 50% off sale but even at $68 bucks, I think it's worth it:

Admittedly, they look like they are sold out of a lot of sizes online but in store, there was a shit ton of sizes left and a TON more colors.

If you're looking for last minute gifts or some staples for yourself, I highly recommend you check them out. I'm still not a fan of of their overall aesthetic but they have some great basic, really nice quality sweaters.
