Dr. Martens. They're Back.

I went to an all girls Catholic high school and for whatever reason, Doc Marten's were the only acceptable form of foot wear. I wore my pair every single day for all four years of high school. And they were beat UP by the time I graduated. But they lasted, because they are truly the best quality shoe I've ever come across.

That said, I haven't gone NEAR Dr. Martens as a brand for approx. 1.2 million years since I graduated high school because I had had my fill for 4 straight years. However, just the other week, I was doing some shopping and I spotted a pair of black Dr. Marten boots- a style I didn't own (I had the mary janes in high school. And ooo girl, with a plaid skirt and tights? Your girl was looking real cute.) I tried 'em on and immediately needed to have them. Good thing Liz was with me because she practically pushed me out of the store while aggressively whispering, "Order them on amazon, they're way cheaper." (ok the shoving and the aggression didn't actually happen, she just told me in a normal human being way, that they were cheaper on prime). And lo and behold, they were. About 35 bucks cheaper.

So ok, how do you wear them without looking like you're stuck in the 90's?

Well let's take a peek, shall we?

Ugh, so good right! I just love a good combat boot to really edge up an outfit. And with Doc Martens being the OG combat boot, I am so here for them.

And for those of you who are old enough to have saved your pair from the 90's...90's You was so smart to save them.

Ok so tell me- do you still have your Docs or do you have to buy a new pair? How are you wearing them?
