ISO Pillowy Lips

My two hero products lately have been a combination of a lip scrub and a lip mask. Every winter, my lips crave both.
I've talked about this brand of lip mask before in a post about my favorite luxe lip balms (read it HERE) But I want to talk specifically about this lip mask in the color Champagne: a really pretty shimmery rose gold that instantly plumps your lips, tastes like sugar and has some serious healing powers for uber chapped lips:
I love wearing it over a nude lip liner or alone.
I'm wearing it alone below:

So fresh and easy, right?
And the lip scrub that I love and have been using at least 2 times a week to get rid of dead skin is this Philosophy Lip Scrub:
It tastes awesome but unfortunately it's not really readily available. I think I paid around 10 bucks for this at one of those makeup outlet stores, but all the other sugar scrubs I've come across are like, $16-25 bucks. For the amount of product you get, I feel like that's total highway robbery. So I did some quick googling and I came across a homemade lip scrub. I'm running low on the Philosophy lip scrub so I tried this last night and it worked! And it tastes good, too. I use the lip scrub before I take my makeup off, then wash my face to get rid of any residue and there's no dead skin left.
Here's the recipe I used:
1 tablespoon of organic coconut oil
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of organic honey
Small glass container with lid (try an old pot of lip gloss or baby food jar)
Bowl & spoon to mix ingredients
Thanks, Jessica Alba!
I lip scrub a couple of times a week, wear the shimmery agave lip mask during the day so I can still look polished but also heal my lips, and load up on Bag Balm at night. So far, it's been working and I'm so here for how healthy my lips look and feel.
Have you ever made a homemade lip scrub? What are you doing to combat chapped winter lips??
