New Kicks

As you may have read in my last post, I recently got back from vacation in Florida. And my footwear while I was there (given we were doing a ton of walking at Disney and Universal Studios) was almost 100% my Stan Smiths. And I will always like the look of them; they're so clean looking, unobtrusive, and comfortable. But I feel like I have to retire them for a bit. I've worn that white sneaker look for so long now I wanted something else.

I'd seen black Vans on a bunch of bloggers a while back (also my best, Liz, has a pair of white ones which I always thought looked so cute on her) but kind of forgot about them because I didn't need them ("need", I know). Until I realized how over my Stan Smiths I was, so of course, while Alex was riding a PSYCHOTIC roller coaster I refused to do and I was waiting for him, I shopped them on Prime and they arrived the day I got back from vacation:

UGH. They're just so easy and chic!! I can't wait to wear them.

However, I cannot...CANNOT stand the look of them when they're dirty (much like my Stan Smiths). So Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to the rescue.
