New Lipstick I'm Loving

So recently I bought a new brow product, a pencil rather than a brow pomade. Turns out, I didn't really like the look of a lighter and less precise brow, so I returned it at Nordstrom (🙏🏼for Nords return policy AMIRITE) and was totally going to walk away with 30 something bucks back on my credit card and then something came over me and I just kinda needed a new lipstick, you know?

I'm walking away from the salesperson and my return transaction and found myself walking towards the Bobbi Brown counter, a brand I've grown up with and loved, but haven't really be drawn to recently. They don't really release new and products very often, they don't really partner with influencers so I'm not really seeing the brand all over IG and frankly, I kind of forgot about the brand. (However I did see that they recently just launched an influencer lipstick collab, so good on BB's marketing team. About time.)

I was about to walk away from Bobbi Brown and towards the Dior counter when I saw the words "Nourishing Lip Color" and then I felt a tingle in my wallet because give me ALL THE NOURISHING PRODUCTS. I tried on a shade and I was REALLY surprised with how much I liked the formula. Not a gloss (but it was glossy) more color than a balm, and very very moisturizing and comfortable.

I tried on a couple of the nude shades (I can't help it, I love a nude lip) before finding the prettiest, pinky brown nude, called Blush. This one is different than the other nude shades I have because it's got a tiny bit of shimmer in it which I think is really flattering and pretty. A great everyday color that also plumps up the look of my lips.

But of course, they have a ton of really wearable brights and deeper shades, too. Look:

I honestly think I'm gonna have to go pick up a couple of other colors, maybe that Sweet Apricot color and if I'm feeling really wild, that Cosmic Peony. DANG now I'm mad I didn't try on any of the actual colors.

Anyway, I wanted to share my adventures in discovering a great lip product with you.
