Supergoops' Refreshing Setting Mist SPF 50

Ok right, so many things I love about the title of this post already.

I got a deluxe sample of Supergoop's Refreshing Setting Mist with SPF 50 in a recent Sephora order (I'm trying out a new moisturizer since the one I tried last sucked. Peep that post HERE) and to be honest, I didn't have high hopes. I've tried a spray on SPF mist before from a brand I don't remember and I HATED it. It was sticky and made my skin feel tight and weird and it was just all around not a great experience. Plus, I made the huge mistake of spraying it too close to my hair and my hair felt like I had sprayed how I would think drain cleaner would feel on my hair. It was so sticky I couldn't even run a brush through it. I actually had to RE-WASH MY HAIR. I was so pissed.

So needless to say, I had very low expectations for this:

So I tried it (covering my hair line very carefully) and at first spritz, I loved it. It's really is super refreshing because it has a cooling sensation that comes from peppermint stem/leaf oil. So I sprayed and forgot about it. And then I checked my makeup at the end of the day and my skin looked luminous, didn't feel tight at all and my makeup was still in tact.

That said, I'd read reviews online about the nozzle and how it failed so many people. The product was great but the nozzle would stick and no product would come out, or the nozzle would spritz the product wildly and land everywhere but where you wanted it to. Which frankly, is a deal breaker for me. If I'm spraying something on my face, I need a super fine mist and I need to be able to control where I'm spraying the product.

However, since I loved the product itself so much, I bought a bottle and I've been using it for about a week and my nozzle is working totally fine. HOWEVER. I'm clutching onto my Sephora receipt because it is going back the minute the nozzle fails. I don't care if I'm almost done with the whole bottle, to be completely honest. If it fails, I'm returning it and exchanging it for another one. If I'm paying for a product, I expect to be able to use it until it's empty.

But truly the best part of this product is the SPF 50. I've been using it religiously on my chest in addition to face because my décolletage is an area I just don't pay enough attention to when it comes to anti- aging. I don't know about you but a wrinkly, sun spotted, old looking chest and cleavage just isn't for me, guys.

So tell me. Have you guys tried this product or something similar? Did your nozzle work??
