My Holy Grail Facial Spray

Well, guys. I did it. I found the perfect facial spray that beats all other facial sprays.
Now if you've been reading le blog since the beginning, one of my first posts was about a few facial sprays that I liked; 2 of them were Urban Decay and one was MAC Fix +. The Urban Decay ones were mostly for setting makeup and I'm moving away from MAC products because of the whole animal testing thing.
I have stipulations for what I consider a good facial spray:
1. MUST have ingredients that benefit my skin. Evian water in a can does not count as a good enough facial spray in my book.
2. It needs to make my skin feel good AFTER it dries down. And by "good," I mean hydrated but not greasy and not tight.
3. The nozzle on the spray must be a super fine mist. Chunky spray ruins my makeup and well, it just doesn't feel as good.
I returned the product below because it magically made my skin feel greasy and tight and dry within 10 minutes. Also the spray nozzle was like an effing fire hose (I tried it at the store but I guess I just wasn't paying close enough attention.)

In the same trip I also tried the Beauty Elixir by Caudalie but was really turned off by the $49 price point for 3.4 oz (by comparison, the Too Faced one above was $25 bucks for 4 oz.)
So back to Sephora I went to return ol' fire hose up there and bit the bullet and picked up the Caudalie one:
And I am so so glad I did. Because I'm borderline obsessed with it now.
More from Sephora.com:
"Inspired by Queen Isabelle of Hungary's famous elixir of youth, Beauty Elixir is formulated with grape extracts and clarifying ingredients to provide an immediate burst of radiance. The complexion treatment reduces dullness and is infused with toning rosemary, astringent mint, and soothing rose essential oil to prepare your skin for further treatments. Beloved by celebrities and makeup artists worldwide, the Beauty Elixir is the ideal priming base and setting spray between layers of makeup for a long-lasting and smooth finish. Perfect as an aftershave for men, the formula contains essential oils and plant extracts to clarify and brighten the complexion. The therapeutic scent is invigorating throughout the day and can be used mid-day at the office for an instant pick-me-up and in the evening to refresh your makeup so that it looks like you had just applied it."
So not only does it prep your skin for makeup, set it and refreshes your skin throughout the day, there are good ingredients that will benefit your skin long term. But le sigh. The best part. There's MINT extract in the product so when you spray it, it's super cooling. And the spray is a super fine mist. Basically like a tiny baby angel breathing mintily on you.
And to be honest, I like Caudalie products but I'm drawn to so many other brands before them. That said, for a facial spray, I can honestly tell you I don't think I'll ever find a better one.
Have you ever tried this and do you love it as much as I do?
