Finishing up this little series of updated make up and skincare routines, I've included all of the products I use in the evening and how I use them.
If I know I won't be going back out in the evening after coming home from work, I immediately remove all of my makeup using the Eau De Lait Collosal No Rinse Makeup Remover. Is it cheap? No. It is worth it? Yes. Read more about it HERE.
Then I spritz some Caudalie Beauty Elixir to open pores and refresh my face. Read more about why I love it so much HERE.
I apply a nickel sized amount of Habo Labo Hyaluronic Acid to my palms, rub them together and pat the product into my face until it becomes sticky (it's what the label says to do). Read more about it HERE.
Then I apply my Biossance Serum that I am absolutely loving. It's a serum that performs like retinol but it's plant derived and much more gentle on sensitive skin. Read more about it HERE.
2-3 nights a week I've started to re-incorporate Dr. Dennis Gross' Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peels. I used them a while back and went way too ham and gave myself perioral dermatitis which is basically really stubborn eczema on my face that I had to see a dermatologist for, take antibiotics and use a steroid cream. That was in 2017 and I've stayed away from these peels for basically the whole year but then recently I slowly started to re-introduce them back into my routine to see what happens. And I'm here for them. Again. I switch between the peels and the Biossance serum because I'm too nervous to do them together. Read more about them HERE.

I've recently started a new moisturizer because I'm almost out of my Sunday Riles C.E.O. one and while I can't give you a full review on it yet, so far I can say I really like it. I'm waking up with smooth and even toned skin and it's really moisturizing even though it's a gel formula (those formulas don't tend to do enough for me but this one does). So my very early review is that I really like it:
I then pat a few drops of rosehip oil to seal everything in.
And lol you think I'm done but I'm not. Because I don't do all of this right before bed, I do it when I get home from work, I allow all of the skincare I've just applied to sink in and do it's magic for a few hours. And then when I'm right about to go to bed, I apply a healthy layer of this Beauty Counter Baby Balm. This does a good job of protecting my skin when I sleep, given I'm a side sleeper (I know...so bad) and it helps keep all of that great skincare on my face. I don't know, maybe it's bs but I wake up to super luminous and dewy skin, whereas without the balm, I wake up and my skin looks matte and it lacks a glow.
So there you have it: my updated nighttime skin routine.
So tell me, how often does your skin routine change? What products/steps do you incorporate that you think I need to, also??
