Recent Under Eye Combo I'm Loving: NYX+ Tatcha

In the past, I've relied on thick, super emollient concealers to hide any darkness under my eyes. I love a bright under eye, I find it really youthful and gives the illusion of being well rested. However, the older I get, the less I am comfortable with thick makeup products on my face. Wrinkles are really messing things up for me but also, I just prefer the look of less makeup, especially on an everyday basis.

Recently, I've needed to rely on a color corrector. A few weeks ago, a sweet but excitable dog bonked me in the face with his enormous head and gave me a black eye. Nothing major but it definitely needed covering up. Regular concealer wasn't enough and I had to resort to color correcting the blue bruised area with an orange corrector. I was on my way to check out at Ulta and spend 25 bucks this orange color correcting stick from Smashbox:

When I remembered that NYX had a similar product for much less so I ditched the dork and ran to the drug store section of Ulta and found this NYX Dark Circle Concealer:

A little lighter in tone, not as convenient with the pot vs stick application and not as creamy BUT I realized, I actually prefer NYX's formula to the Smashbox one. The NYX formula is a bit waxier and thinner so you can layer it on without adding thick layers to your under eye area. AND you can lay products on top of it and it still looks like nothing under your eye.

My go to combo as of late has been a couple of thin layers of NYX Dark Circle Corrector patted in the darkest areas under my eyes and then the Tatcha Pearl over it (I've written about why I love this product HERE):

I love that I'm concealing, brightening and also treating the thin skin under my eyes with nourishing ingredients from Tatcha. And with this combination, I am left with bright, non-creasing, non cakey under eyes. And I'm am FEELIN' IT, YOU GUYS.

So what about you- what is your go to under eye product? Or "product(s)", if you're high maintanence like your girl?
