Are sheet masks bullshit?

I'm so on the fence, guys. I've tried so many of them; mostly ones that claim to moisturize or brighten. I leave em on until they're basically fully dried on my face, which is a feat in and of itself because they're so annoying to keep on; they're always slipping on and off so I can't actually DO anything like laundry or cook (lol jk I don't cook) which annoys me to no end and I take it off and...ok cool it looks like I just put serum on. Which I do twice a day anyway. So verdict? I think sheet masks actually are bullshit. Now, I DID do this GlamGlow Tightening Mask below but straight up- it was just for the photo opp. It did nothing.

I am however, a HUGE fan of at home peels. Because I have sensitive skin, anything with the word "peel" would scare the bejesus out of me because remember when Samantha got a chemical peel and her face looked like it melted off? No thanks, no time. However, there are AMAZING at home peels that really brighten and make your skin smooth af and are ok for people with sensitive skin. When you wash the crap off your face, it will feel smooth as glass.
There are a couple of my favorites:

Buy the Philosophy peel here
Buy the Dennis Gross peel here
A really good hydrating mask I found this at Marshalls, it was $6 bucks, and I've never looked back:

Well, shit. I can't find it anywhere because I guess it's discontinued. Blugh. Well ok...I need reco's for a really hydrating mask then! Hook me up below.
