Sensitive skin. Such a bitch. And I've gone overboard, guys. Between peels and retinol and listening to the wrong stupid fucking brand reps at Sephora (you know, I really think they shouldn't allow that; having brand reps hang out in the skin care section, NOT say that they're a brand rep, and try and sell you on THEIR BRANDS' products. That's like false advertising, Give me the best product based on my skin, not the best product from YOUR brand. Lots of caps, can you tell I'm pissed.)
So TDLR, my skin looks awful. I'm breaking out mostly around my mouth and chin and ugh, it's so unfortunate. I have praised the concealer gods many, many times as of late. I have an appointment to go to the dermatologist but until then, I needed the most gentle moisturizer on the market. So I did some research and found this one:
This one is specifically for what they call "hyper sensitive skin" which I have and many doctors recommend this to patients who have had plastic surgery to help shorten the healing time.
To be honest, I had really low expectations for this. I have had this idea in my head that French skin care just isn't as good as Asian skincare. And this product doesn't have anything in it to help with my skin issues: no rose oil or vitamin C for my hyperpigmentation, no nothing. Just blah. And then I tried it. AND LOVED IT. It is ultra moisturizing, way more than I thought it would be. It's great for during the day AND night. I am shocked at how much I love this.
So I'm gonna keep using this and only this until my dermatologist tells me how to get rid of wtf is happening on my face.
Have you guys ever tried this brand?
