WTF is Gua Sha

Well, I'll tell you, friends.
So I've recently gotten into facial massaging (read about that HERE). And in doing research about facial massaging, I read about another little tool called a Gua Sha.
Here's a picture of it up close:
It's used along side acupuncture and body massage, but I use it for a facial massage.
Essentially each side magically somehow fits into the contours of your face.
So here's how I use it:
1. Shit ton of oil of my face to cut down on the tugging of skin
2. The bottom edge I use in upward motions on my jaw line as well as under my eyes. It fits perfectly for both areas.
3. The curved edge on the left, I use for my forehead: I do the scraping motion is horizontally and vertically, and especially between my eyes to try and smooth out my 11's.
4. The same curved edge on the left side of tool, I use to scrape the folds around my nose and mouth in an upwards (ALWAYS UPWARD) motion.
5. Finally, that same edge I use on my neck, again upward motions.
Each motion I do 10 times each so it doesn't take too long. And I swear, I feel prettier afterwards. Maybe it's getting my blood going so my cheeks are rosy but there's something kinda magical about this little tool. I'm actually thinking of returning the super expensive Nurse Jamie tool and just using the gua sha.
Even though I am really into this, I'm still pretty new to the whole gua sha world and I need to watch more youtube videos; have you guys ever heard of it?
