SPF with Skincare Ingredients

If you've been following le blog, you know that your girl does not leave the house without SPF. And I'm not talking about SPF in my moisturizer or SPF in my bb cream...I'm talking an actual separate product that is specifically and ONLY for sun protection.

I've been using this 👇🏼 La Roche Posay one for years. I love the finish and that it doesn't make me greasy and doesn't break me out. And I love the high SPF.

However, I recently bought this one👇🏼 based on a recommendation of Lauryn Evarts, a blogger I follow and love:

You might be asking why I even switched SPF, given I have used the La Roche Posay for so long. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? Wrong, man. I am ALWAYS on the hunt for a product that is even better than what I currently use. And after hearing about it on Lauryn's insta stories, I did some research I loved that the Replenix SPF has skincare ingredients:

• Antioxidants: helps protect your skin from free radicals and all that crap in our air

• Caffeine: tightens and firms the appearance of our skin

• Green tea: prevents aging

• Squalane: an oil that our skin naturally produces, which provides healthy hydration

The La Roche Posay SPF is just an SPF.

I've been wearing it the past few days and I really like it- I love how it wears under my makeup and doesn't make my skin greasy or dry.

Another another great reason to try this: it's 4 oz for 35 bucks (well, I bought mine for 35 bucks on prime. The price may have gone up a bit by the time you read this, but it should go back down again.) The La Roche Posay is 30 bucks for 1.7 oz. So you know me, always cognizant of cost per ounce; this is just a way better deal.

Oh and lastly; don't be scared by the color if you do purchase it. It comes out like a mustard-y color but blends onto the face leaving no color or tint.
