Ol' Faithful: Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss in Rose Sugar

I have loved Bobbi Brown since high school. HIGH. SCHOOL. As that is approximately 1.5 million years ago and how often your girl tries new products, you know this brand is a keeper. I love the quality of the products, the fact that the color range works for all skin tones and the packaging is classic and chic.

That said, the standout product that I keep going back to is their lip gloss in Rose Sugar (this was my first high end beauty product I bought for myself WITH MY BABYSITTING MONEY):

It’s a shimmery neutral pinky brown gloss that SHINES TO THE HIGH HEAVENS and lasts forEVER. I put some on when I left the gym this morning at 8am and I’m writing this 3 hours later and I still feel it on my lips. I’ve had a tea from Starbucks and have been chugging water so the fact that I haven’t needed to reapply a lip gloss AFTER THREE HOURS is incredible.

I also love that although the color is a neutral pink, the shimmer is cooler toned, so it's really reflective and makes your lips look nice and plump and juicy. I'm wearing it here:

But that said, the reason it lasts so long is because it’s sticky and thick, which means I only wear this gloss when my hair is pulled back. If a strand of hair gets caught in the gloss, you will be losing that strand off of your head as it will be pulled out, that is how sticky this gloss is.

However, I don’t mind a sticky gloss when my hair is pulled back because like I mentioned above, it lasts forever and I don’t mind how it feels on my lips. For those of you who are used to wearing a chapstick or lipstick, something that feels like nothing on your lips, you will not like this. For those who can handle a matte lipstick or thick gloss, GET THIS LIPGLOSS. I don’t care if you’re black, white, brown, red or purple, this color will look incredible on you.
